I order from this restaurant for group lunches at work and people are always happy. Portions are generous and food is fresh. Would recommend!

Tried something here .. don't remember the name but it was delicious and the price was .. fairly good

Ordered recently, Souvlaki box meal, and Chicken Shawarma wrap with Fries meal. Rice, fries, Chicken all cold. Delivery was fantastic, 20 minutes but this is the first time all was cold. Will try again in the future, but for the price of $32 + tip, it might be awhile.

I ordered the chicken club wrap which had grilled chicken, tomatoes, lettuce and mayo in a wrap. Very impressed by the freshness of it - warm, soft pita filled with juicy grilled chicken, crisp veggies and enough mayo so the wrap wasn't dry, but not so much that it falls apart. At 7.99, it's well worth it for lunch. Definitely recommended. Delivery was very quick too, and was here before time.

As far as i know this is bad restaurant I became sick when I eat their food it is herpublicatie restaurant 1 week ago I brought a rice, from that day to this day I am sic😢😢😢😢

The meat portion was too small and all of the vegetables were cut way too large to eat; roasted potatoes shouldn't be cut in half. Quarter tomatoes and full onion rings don't belong in salad.

It is own take out, but even during busy lunch hours, their lamb and beef souvlaki was perfectly prepare ... very juicy, moist, and not overcook. Even some expensive restaurant do not prepare it like that.

Their delivery service and food were both on point. The portions were also very generous. The souvlaki and lamb platters were both delicious and very well assembled. The driver was polite and overall service was easy and fast. I would definitely recommend this place and plan on ordering again.

Made an order and souvalki platter from the Hawthorne location recieved food fast all the lettuce was rotten i was so disgusted i had to throw it out the worst part is i live down the road. I THINK ITS SAFE TO SAY I WILL NEVER BE ORDERING FROM HERE EVER AGAIN

One of the best takeout experiences I've ever had. Fast service, not too expensive and great food. The spanakopita is ridiculously good. Never have had a bad meal.

A worker or possibly the owner of this restaurant decided to harass me after picking up food.noticed him attempting to make an illegal left turn,told him "no left turn here" while over taking him, he then proceeds to follow me and stops mid traffic to get out of his car and threaten me. i'm pursuing legal action, i would stay away from this place at all cost. food wasn't the best and way over priced.Update: The driver stated he was the owner of your establishment. I have proof he at least works there, no one is lying. This happened at around 4:45 on friday.

This place has been around forever. Consistently top quality and very quick delivery. Pickup is ready in 10mins tops.Calamari is the best I've had from any Greek place, and everything else I've ordered has always been great. If you haven't ordered from here you are missing out.

Ordered through just eat. Food was 56 min late and without utensils. Food tasted great, even cold, it probably would have been a 4 star meal if service wasn't compromised. Attached is a picture of the spoon I had to macgyver since they didn't include utensils.

The sandwiches are decent but I always forget I shouldn't bother with the platters. I find the rice and potatoes kind of bland.

I always order from here. The food is delicious and delivery is fast! I highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for some Greek food :)

AWESOME Greek food. Super nice people. Call ahead for your pick up or have them deliver. It's strictly pick up or take out. Well priced menu not overly expensive and the food is delicious. I highly recommend.

Great food! It is always fast and delicious. It is just down the street from us so we eat there all the time! The platters have large portions for when you are really hungry but the value boxes are also good portion sizes for a regular meal.

Love it, just wish it were cheaper so I could eat here more often !

The go-to for Greek take out. We get take out here every other week or so...never disappointed. Crazy fast too! If it wasn't fiscally irresponsible, I would eat here more often! The Greek salad is a must have...the dressing is legendary.

It is with great glee that I write this review. Let me tell you about a time when I was a poor university student and I worked in a Greek restaurant. I must say that those were very tiring days, and I tried to put myself through university, and I somehow felt that working as a waiter in a Greek restaurant would somehow make me feel complete. Every evening after class, I would direct myself towards the restaurant. I even learned how to speak Greek so I could fit in. Unfortunately, I was fired because I was a bad waiter. I spilled soup on someone. It was a life changing experience. To this day, I deal with it in therapy. Luckily, I graduated and I realized that my career in the Greek restaurant serving industry would never happen. Luckily, I found Greek on Wheels, and now my life is complete. Great food.

This place has changed its portions. Used to be in a different container, now they put your food in small paper bowl things and put that in a Styrofoam container.You package will be only 75% food. They don't even fill it up like they used to.Portions are definitely smaller now. Just look at the pictures of my food.Needs to be fixed.

I was told the Hawthorne location is the best and fortunately, since I live downtown, that"s where I ordered from. I've been wanting to try Greek on Wheels for a long time but never got around to it.Today I decided to place my first order and oh boy, am I glad I did. I ordered a chicken souvlaki platter and side of fried calamari. It was delicious. Everything was perfect.My experience eating Greek food has always been positive but often, one component is not as good as the others. For example, great rice but okay potatoes. Or great potatoes but okay salad. In this case, every component was great. That"s a rare thing, in my experience anyway. Every bite was perfect.I was very satisfied with my experience and truly enjoyed my meal. It brought back memories from eating awesome Greek food in my hometown of Montreal. Glad I can also find great Greek food in Ottawa by ordering from Greek on Wheels, Hawthorne.

I received bright green mouldy food from this place. Really gross. If I could give 0 stars I would. Beware!!

Food is good, but the main reason I used to order from here was the quick delivery time. Being very close to their downtown location my orders used to show up in 25-35 minutes. (usually closer to 20) The last few times I've ordered it took either close to, or well over an hour to get pre-made food delivered a couple of blocks. First time I thought it was a fluke but after the fourth time when I told the driver I was done ordering from them (after 2 decades) he just shrugged and said "they're too cheap to hire more delivery guys".Good thing that even loyal customers can vote with their wallets.Edit: After dealing with the owner I can safely say this place is not worth your time. If he treats his customers this badly I wonder how he treats his food. Also look at the hostile way he has responded to others....not professional at all.

Came here for lunch - didn't know it was just a take away option. There is a little park down the street we were able to eat on the bench. It was very good. Both the wrap and the fries were yummy. Would return!

Best Greek Food in town. I have been getting delicious food from them for over 15 years. Reasonable prices and large helpings.

I ordered a chicken souvlaki, Greek platter, and baklava for delivery last night around 7:30 pm. The restaurant estimated about 55 min for delivery. I thought that was a bit long than ideal, but on a Friday night, I accepted it. At 25 min, a delivery driver showed up with the souvlaki and baklava, but missing the Greek platter. I called to make them aware, and they were extremely apologetic. Ultimately, I decided just to eat what was sent because it was a decent amount of food, and I didn't want to hassle them with sending out a second delivery. The food was unbelievably mediocre. Not horrible, but really nothing special. Pretty bland, if you ask me. 5+ star service, but 1- star food quality. I appreciate the speed of delivery, and will totally overlook the mistake on my order, but because of the food I am not likely to order from this place again. I was really excited to try it based on the reviews, but am super disappointed with what I got. Sorry!

I was very disappointed with the delivery and the display of the mobile app options. I'm vegetarian and ordered some combos at the veggie platters section, but we received meat in our orders. The attendant didn't even bother apologizing since they mentioned that what we ordered had traditionally meat. They need to specify better that the veggie options are NOT for vegetarians! This was a lack of respect with vegetarian costumers!

Absolutely horrible customer service. We have been ordering from GoW for over 7 years now and we gave never been treated so badly by a restaurant. After waiting for more than an hour for our order we called and we were told our order was transferred to another location (which was weird cause we usually call the downtown location about twice a month ). The woman said call the Hawthorne location. So we did that and they had explained that the order was delivered to the wrong address and they didn't have our phone number. Which is ridiculous because we are in the system. The woman then preceded to tell me that my order would take another half hour. I told her that that would make it 2 hrs since we ordered and we expect that it should be free. She said she would talk to manager and call me back. She lied. We never got any call back or our order. My kids are upset and crying. Thanks Greek on Wheels!!!

So consistent. Never disappointed when my food arrives and they are so fast at delivering. I order from here a lot. The quality of the food is always good and fresh. Keep up the good work guys!!

Pretty fantastic! I was so impressed when I got it delivered to see that they had poked holes in the calamari dish which let the steam out and kept them CRISPY!!! Bravo for that 👏. The gyro was good too, but the bread they used I found a bit odd, seemed more like naan than pita, and I think it could use some more stuffing besides 🍅 and onion. But it was still good! I will reorder from here! Thank you!
